Christopher the Lawn Man is currently developing the FLOMO II. This special mower will cut lawns on a cushion of air, leaving absolutely no tire marks resulting in a smooth carpet like appearance. Perhaps the biggest development is that the FLOMO II will utilize a state of the art hydrogen engine.

The FLOMO II will do what no other machine can do:
1.) When the lawn cutting is finished, it will leave the grass with a 'CARPETLY SMOOTH' appearance.
2.) There are no tire marks as it has no wheels.
3.) There is no need for the grass to be removed  because there are no bags to catch the grass in ... it mulches the grass at 3200 rpm.

Below are posts from Christopher regarding the FLOMO II and it's development. Most are from emails he has sent to various parties. If you'd like to know more please feel free the read these posts.

I started an idea for a project in 2000 and it has built itself to a need of the use of Hydrogen based Fuel Cells. I am aware that these cells exist but have a limit on its use and application. Have tried to contact Justin Thornley with WSU in Pullman and was not able to help out with a Prototype of an engine, applicable to what I call ‘The Flomo II’. So, in reference that WWU has a good, small engine program that could assist me,  I am sending you this email. I noticed your list of ‘Student Projects’ and that they were a bit short to my Project level, but, their innovation could be a help in putting together this prototype.

In Everett, I can set up an appointment for conversation with you and Jeff Frost. The idea that I had of the type of small engine, involves a 3.75 hp, 3W Radial  that uses hydrogen as a fuel source. The hydrogen fuel cells brought some different things into focus.
